As my hotel was not far from Tiantan Park where I was scheduled to visit the Temple of Heaven, she decided that I could walk there by myself instead of her spending the day with me. ... and walking back to my hotel. Checked myself out and took a taxi to the airport, which isn't as easy as it sounds as most taxis would pull up, look at your luggage and then just drive off.
